The Two Medicine Valley and Firebrand Pass are an off-trail explorer’s dream.  In fact, it is one of our favorite places to wander around off trail.  Navigation is easy and the views are stupendous.  This is a great place to consider summiting your first peak, but it is also just a great place to get off trail and find out what that is all about.

For those wanting a great traverse this volume features the traverse from Firebrand Pass to the Two Medicine Valley.  It travels along the Continental Divide and has the option of summiting Red Crow Mountain, Bearhead Mountain, Mount Ellsworth, and either Never Laughs Mountain or Appistoki Peak.  This is a fantastic trip along a seldom visited Class II route with no exposure.
